4 Days | The Sipi Falls Romantic Retreat
The 4-Day Sipi Odyssey is an intimate escape to the edge of Mount Elgon. Perched on the ridges overlooking the vast Karamoja plains, Sipi Falls is Uganda’s most romantic destination. This retreat is designed for couples who want to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other amidst triple-cascading waterfalls, Arabica coffee aromas, and the cool mountain air.
The Beginning of the Trek
Day 1: The Road to the Sun-Gate

Morning: Depart Kampala/Entebbe, heading east. Journey through the lush Mabira Forest and cross the Nile at Jinja.

Afternoon: Ascend the foothills of Mount Elgon. Arrive at your lodge, perched on a cliffside with a private view of the main 100-meter waterfall.

Evening: A "Welcome to the Clouds" candlelit dinner as the lights of the plains begin to twinkle far below.

Driving Time: Approx. 5–6 hours.
Day 2: The Triple Crown & The Sunset Platter

Morning: The Three Falls Hike. A guided, unhurried walk to all three levels of Sipi Falls. Take a "natural shower" under the second fall and find hidden caves behind the water curtains.

Highlight: A private Picnic Lunch set up by our team at the base of the middle falls.

Afternoon: Leisurely afternoon at the lodge.

Evening: Sundowner at "Postman’s Corner." Sip wine as you watch one of Africa’s most dramatic sunsets, where the sun dips directly into the horizon of the northern plains.
Day 3: The Scent of Arabica & Adventure

Morning: The Coffee Odyssey. Sipi grows the finest Bugisu Arabica on earth. Join a local family for a "Bean to Cup" experience—pick, roast, and grind your own romantic morning brew.

Afternoon: Optional thrill for the brave: Abseiling down the main 100m cliff next to the waterfall. Alternatively, enjoy a spa treatment or a village walk.

Evening: Farewell "Chef's Special" dinner featuring locally sourced trout and organic vegetables.
